and reflect on the true meaning of this holiday.

Memorial Day is often looked at as the unofficial start of summer—a weekend filled with backyard barbecues, family gatherings, and a welcome break from the Monday morning workflow. But for millions of families across our nation, and right here in Northeast Indiana, this day carries a much heavier, sacred significance.

Today is about remembering the brave men and women who stepped forward to protect our country and made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our freedom.

In our day-to-day operations, we talk a lot about protection, vigilance, and looking out for the things that matter most. But the security we build for local businesses pale in comparison to the profound shield of liberty provided by our service members. Every opportunity we have to build, innovate, and grow our local economy is a direct gift resulting from their profound dedication.

We are incredibly proud to call Auburn, IN our home. This community has a deep-rooted history of patriotism, strength, and looking out for one another. As we spend time with our loved ones today, let us collectively remember the local families who carry the memory of a fallen hero. Their sacrifice is woven into the very fabric of our freedom.
