About SparkWave IT Service

Technology with Clarity, Stewardship, and Purpose

SparkWave IT Service exists to help small teams carry big responsibility with technology that is steady, understandable, and aligned with their mission.

We support organizations in Auburn, DeKalb County, and the Greater Fort Wayne area who don’t need more tools — they need clarity, ownership, and systems they can rely on.

Rooted in Service and Mission

SparkWave IT Service is led by Michael Kelly, a U.S. Navy veteran and ministry leader with experience supporting environments where reliability, accountability, and clear responsibility matter.

Through roles focused on readiness, maintenance, and leadership, Michael spent years translating complex systems into practical, plain‑language actions for everyday teams.

SparkWave was founded to help organizations move from:

“We hope this works”
to
“We know where things are, who owns them, and what to do next.”

That shift — from uncertainty to clarity — is where technology begins to support people instead of distracting them.

How SparkWave Approaches Technology

SparkWave is intentionally not built around selling the biggest stack of tools or chasing trends.

The work is guided by a few steady principles:

  • Mission first, tools second
  • Plain language over jargon
  • Security and stewardship as everyday practices
  • Documentation so organizations are never dependent on one person

These principles shape every engagement, from web infrastructure to identity governance to leadership advisory work.

A Local, Disciplined Approach

Technology decisions don’t happen in a vacuum. Local vendors, connectivity realities, regulatory environments, and organizational culture all matter.

SparkWave works closely with organizations throughout Auburn, DeKalb County, and the Greater Fort Wayne region, providing support that reflects local context alongside technical expertise.

We are intentionally sized to stay close to our clients — without call centers, handoffs, or opaque support models.

What SparkWave Focuses On — and What It Doesn’t

SparkWave focuses on systems, identity, governance, and leadership, rather than attempting to cover every possible IT task.

This means:

  • We do not provide end‑user device hardware management or break‑fix services
  • We do help establish clear ownership, access, and responsibility across your environment
  • We do coordinate intelligently with vendors or internal contacts when physical device issues arise

This focus allows us to provide steadier guidance and maintain long‑term clarity for the organizations we support.

Built for Long‑Term Trust

SparkWave works best with teams who value:

  • Clear explanations
  • Thoughtful decision‑making
  • Sustainable systems
  • Honest guidance — even when the answer is “you don’t need that”

If that sounds like your organization, the next step is simply a conversation.

Let’s Start with a Conversation

Whether you need help with a specific project or are looking for a steady technology partner, the first step is a short, straightforward discussion about your environment and goals.
